Our work with wood symbolizes our craftmanship, passion and artistry. We challenge the norm by bringing a higher level of our craft to satisfy the diverse preferences of our customers. We are committed to ensuring our customers satisfaction and pleasure in our efforts.

Reclaimed and salvaged wood forms a major part of the business. Feature walls, stair railings, or a special bedside table lamp. Each brings a feeling of warmth and rustic charm to your home.

The Heart of DDWW

From building tree forts as a youngster, to a first job at a sawmill, the smell and feel of wood has thrived as a passion for many years and continues to grow.

Many an early morning breakfast by a woodland creek, or among the whispering trees of the forest, has been a part of searching for special pieces from which to craft unique and appealing “wood art.”

From sawmill, to custom wood window and door shop work, to starting a custom furniture shop… all has led up to life’s real passion. Crafting one of a kind pieces for the world around me to enjoy for years to come.

One of the fondest parts of the business is being able to have my dad, Walt, as a helpmate. A father, a teacher, a mentor… the list goes on.
